BACKGROUND
Cabins is a new urban hotel, offering the traveler the opportunity to stay and visit a local area, a vibrant neighborhood, without being far from the tourist attractions. It is located in the green area of Mets, Athens, in the basement of a typical Greek apartment building. Rooms are small but comfortable, ideal for solo travelers or business trips. This innovative project will be a part of the Annual Expo, "100% Hotel Show" 2023, in Greece.
BRANDING
I was assigned to create the logo, print collateral and signage design. I developed a custom display typeface, based on the various shapes of the hotel's interior design. Arches, strong curves, round lights are some of the dominant elements of the interior structure of the spaces. In order to create this feeling of living in small spaces in an Athenian neighborhood, I designed the letters from the same rectangular shape with a bold and expanded character and the composition of the word to be in 3 levels. The idea was to create a visual identity that would be in balance with the space and harmonize with the interior design details, reflecting the urban nature of the area and carrying a funky and bold style.
